Jharokha

Architecture, distilled to a fine line.

The jharokha — the projecting, screened window of Rajasthani architecture — gives Jaipur's façades their rhythm of arches, shadow and light.

The Jharokha studies abstract that rhythm into a slender arcade of cusped arches, drawn as a single fine line. Restrained enough for a dress watch; detailed enough to reward a second look.

Concept straps with fine arched line prints on dark slate, crossed by patterned window light.

Concept render: an unbranded watch with a black dial on the Jharokha Noir strap, on dark slate in patterned light.
